O da gban'e nɛ ye maal university Kumasi sʋ'ʋlʋm ka di mɔr vɛnlim tisi o na'am sʋ'ʋlʋm la.Pʋtɛn'ɛr kaŋa da pʋ nyaŋi naanɛ bɔzugɔ,  saŋa kan la na'saanam la nɛ naab la da mɔrnɛ nɔngbanwanri ken teŋ yaligir yɛlla. Nana Prempeh da mukidnɛ ye o sʋ'ʋgʋ o kambʋn teŋ.[3] Amaa o pitu kanɛ kanɛ da di na'am on da kpi la ka ba buon ye  kanbʋn na'ab Agyeman Prempeh kanɛ pɛ'ɛsi ayi la da die na'am la yʋʋm 1935 la mɛn da mukidnɛ nɛ pʋtɛn'ɛr kaŋa.[3] ka yʋʋm 1940 la, saŋa  kan la  Gold Coast da tiebid ye maal yɛlsieba la da siali nɛ ba putɛn'ɛr gban'ar la. Yiiga ba da ye ba yɔ'ɔs nɛ sakurbɛda wʋʋ university nam nɛ bɛ  Gold Coast.[4] Dinɛ pɛɛsi ayi anɛ, yʋʋm 1948 la ni zaba kanɛ ka Accra dim da duoe nɛ consequent Watson Commission report, la da nar ka ba yɔɔg university kanɛ vɛɛnsid yɛlla gbin nɛ na'asaa sɔɔn'ɔg yɛlla  Kumasi.[5] ka  nɛŋa da sʋŋ ka yʋʋm 1949 la ni ka na'ab Prempeh pʋtɛn'ɛr la da naan amɛŋa. Ka ba pin'il sakur la mɛɛb ka pʋdi li yʋʋr ye Kumasi College of Technology.[6]

Sakur kaŋa nwa da  pin'ill di'esid biis nɛ yʋʋm 1951 la ni ka ba maan nu'us tuuma wʋʋ engineering.  (Amaa ba da pin'il gbaʋŋ zamisʋg paa nɛ 1952). Banɛ gɔsid wada yɛlla la da tisi ba nɛ gbaʋŋ kanɛ kaba na nyaŋi mɔri ba mɛŋ nyadi bɛ Kumasi College of Technology la  yʋʋm 1952 la ni.[11] sakur la da pin'ili nɛ teacher nam kɔbisyi banɛ ka ba yisi ba Achimota College kanɛ bɛ  Greater Accra sʋ'ʋlʋm la.Sarkur la la'asi nɛ  University kanɛ bɛ  of London la. Ka  yʋʋm 1961 la ni, ka ba yʋ'ʋn  paamɛ ba mɛŋ nyadi ka paae university zie'sim .[12]
